In today’s Gospel, we see the heart of Jesus—filled with compassion for those who are lost, burdened, and in need. He recognizes that the harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few. This is not only a statement about His time, but a call that continues for us today.

Each one of us, by our baptism, is invited to share in His mission. We are called to be His hands and His voice—to bring hope to the weary, healing to the broken, and love to those who feel forgotten.

Jesus does not call the perfect; He calls the willing. And He equips those He sends. As His disciples, we are invited to trust in His grace and respond generously.

Let us ask the Lord to open our hearts to His compassion and to send us forth as joyful witnesses of His love.
